Sugar Factory Philippines is a what now???

For someone who's unaware of what Sugar Factory in Bonifacio Global City is, one may think that it's just another typical candy store where kids and families would enjoy sweet treats and milkshakes and colorful desserts. But there's more to Sugar Factory that meets the eye...

"What? So it's supposed to be a club?"

The "Tita in me" knew then that Sugar Factory is actually called Sugar Factory Candy Club in the US, and has a few branches in Bahrain, Dubai and The Philippines. A number of Hollywood celebrities and famous musicians have been endorsers of Couture Pops, including Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Rupert Grint and more.

Personally, it is Manila's 'First Sweet Escape' is also and American Brasserie and the ultimate girls night out venue. Get drunk, dance along with the DJ, and enjoy their signature confections, colorful candy cocktails and ultimately delish food!

And from what looks like just a short time, Sugar Factory is finally celebrating their anniversary today, September 19, where guests are entitled to buying Signature Mocktail Goblets and Junior Milkshakes for only one peso each --- this for a minimum purchase of Php1000.

Or they can also enjoy a choice of Pizza and Pasta for only Php365! I highly recommend trying out their new 4 Cheese Pizza!

Here's what you can see as soon as you enter Sugar Factory in BGC --- a clubbed up version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. This two-story restaurant features black and white decor, plush booths, gold fixtures, and high ceilings, creating an opulent space that's classic yet appealing to both young and old.

Sugar Factory is a perfect venue for girls night out, or any function that's girly and flirty. Choose to reserve their Mezzanine Area at the second floor for intimate events for up to 50 persons.

That time, I went out with 'mah girls' Joko from ABSCBN, Princess aka Phantasm Darkstar, and Kat from The Hungry Kat. DJ Brandon Jon plays every Friday and flavored Margaritas are Buy 1 Take 1 for only Php295.

But instead, we started off gulping on this huge goblet filled with gummi bears and nitrogen which made it smoke up like white wildfire. Hmm fruity and quite alcoholic. My kind of drink, I guess?? LOL :)

White Gummi
Mandatory group shot, girls!!!

I liked all of the cocktails, but they were particularly strong for my taste, unless I was a young chick who's mantra is "you only live once", I can down on these drinks and still be able to wake up the next morning feeling great!

Aside from their 4 Cheese Pizza, we also devoured another new dish, the Baby Back Ribs. We enjoyed its sweet, tangy, smoky goodness with each bite.

This Big Cheesy Burger is the bomb, with a huge slab of bacon and some Mac n Cheese. What's diet, guys? WHAT?

And as a surprise, I never knew Sugar Factory serves one of the best paellas that I've had so far! Kudos to the Chef, Dexter Ayson, for making effort in creating dishes like this for Sugar Factory!
